What should we bring?

What are the show hours?

Events and exhibits will be going all day each day. Plan to spend a few hours to see it all.

What can we sell?

Anything you want! If you want to sell it, bring it!

What can we display/exhibit?

Anything you want! If you want to show it, bring it! Gas Engines, Tractors, Classic cars & trucks, lawn & garden tractors.

When can exhibitors and vendors arrive to setup?

   Any time/day you want!  Some folks are planning on showing up on Monday to pick their favorite spot to park. We might even put you to work :) We encourage everyone to stay over through Saturday night for the concert, so your welcome to camp till when ever you want to!

Do you need help or volunteers? 

​   Yes there is always something to do! If you want to help out we will find something for you to do!

Can we bring a golf cart or butt buggy?

   Yes! Anything you want to ride around is fine. The show spans several city blocks so something to ride is helpful. We will also have golf carts to help those that dont bring something with them and need a lift.

Camping - Power or Water available?

   We have some electric available. Its on a first come first serve basis. Bring plenty of extension cords with you! We will also have water to keep your camper full.

More Things to do!

Here is a few of the things there are to see & do at the show!

There will be gas engine displays running, showing you how things where done in the past. We will have corn grinding as well Oil Field Engines and Crude Oil Pumping display. Take a glimpse over at the vintage garden tractors on display and cruise on down to the car show on Thursday night!

Check out the alligator and crocodile petting zoo! How about a Corn Maze, for Blondes?

A special thanks to Darrell & Rebecca, they will have corn shelling & grinding, vintage power hack saws cutting wood and even puzzle making with a gas powered scroll saw!!!

Take a tour of the Flywheel Supply production facility! Cnc lathes and mills will be running as well as our 5 spindle screw machines. Everyone is invited to take part in building their very own brass valve on the production line and take one home for free!

Saturday Brings us Touch a truck thanks to our friends at Meier Towing - See and operate a real tow truck or a mini one! Take a look in a street sweeper & an antique road grader! Kids & Adults , drive a kid size Bull Dozer! Kids and adults alike will love to spend some time in the inflatables & bounce houses! 

Take a tour of our Museum! You are going to want to hear the antique Player Piano making music! Did you know Maytag made wooden washing machines and generators? Come check out the Maytag display!

While your there, stop and play in our free arcade. Take a stab at pinball, or get lost in a retro game of Packman, try out the claw machine or the shooting gallery! Its like Chuck e Cheese - But FREE - we call it Cheesy Zach, for kids of all ages!

​Gospel and Bluegrass Music Group, The Browns, will be headlining the free show on Saturday night. You wont want to miss this energetic group of singers! Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy this outdoor concert!

Power of the Past 2021

The first annual Power of the Past show is in the books! The weather was amazing, it was hot and the first morning started with some rain. But after that the weather was great! We had a great turn out with folks coming to show engines from 11 states. The Browns concert was well attended and is sure to be a big hit next year as well. 

As we look foreword to the 2021 show we will post details here. The show will be held June 10-11-12, 2021. It will again feature many of the things from this year as well as several new things we are working on for 2021!
